Tomeka McLeod

BP America, Inc. - Manager, Strategy, Planning and Economics, E&P Technology

 

Tomeka Cochran McLeod is a native Houstonian. She attended Rice University for her undergraduate education and holds a BA in Economics and Managerial Studies. She is a graduate of Harvard Business School with an MBA in General Management. Before business school, Tomeka worked as a Financial Analyst at Enron Capital & Trade Resources for three years in Houston and London.

 

Currently, Ms. McLeod is a Manager of Strategy, Planning and Economic Analysis in the Exploration, Production and Technology business unit for BP. Prior to this role, Tomeka worked in management consulting for five years. Her most recent position was Associate Director at Navigant Consulting Inc., where she specialized in supporting energy companies on a variety of topics including business strategy, valuation, and organizational design. She also spent two years at McKinsey and Company as an Associate gaining experience in multiple industries.

 

While in business school, Ms. McLeod received a fellowship with the Endeavor Initiative to provide consulting services to small start-up companies in Argentina. As a fellow, Tomeka worked in Argentina for three months helping two Argentinean companies raise capital and develop business strategy. This experience sparked Tomeka’s interest in working in Latin America.
